I conducted interviews with many different young chinese-americans to properly define the need. I asked questions such as "how would you identify yourself?" "what is your definition of chinese american?" and "what are some challenges that you face?"

Most of the responses I received made me realize there was a difficulty in reconciling american values and chinese values, integrating these two different identities, and difficulty identifying with just one.
